Corporate Responsible Business Policy

COMPLIANCE WITH LEGISLATION, STANDARDS AND CODES:
Teks Tech Inspection India Pvt. Ltd., is committed to adhere compliance to all applicable laws and regulations on finance, transparency, corruption and bribery, ethics and integrity, personnel protection, information and data protection, human rights, health & safety, personnel security and environmental sustainability in its operation, business activities, employee relations, audit/verification and training scheme management, facility and client management, media and other stakeholder management, claim/feedback, grievance management and disciplinary practice.
NO USE OF CHILD LABOUR:
Teks Tech Inspection India Pvt. Ltd. is committed not to engage nor support child labour in its operation, business activities and external services taken from external service providers.
NO USE OF FORCED LABOUR:
Teks Tech Inspection India Pvt. Ltd. is committed not to engage, nor support forced or compulsory labour including bonded labour, indentured labour, slave labour, or human trafficking in its operation, business activities and external services taken from external service providers.
FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION AND RIGHTS TO COLLECTIVE BARGAINING:
Teks Tech Inspection India Pvt. Ltd. is committed to respect the principles of freedom of association and right to collective bargaining principles as stipulated in ILO Conventions. Teks Tech Inspection provides the rights to its employees to form, join and organise trade union(s) of their choice and to bargain collectively with the organization. Teks Tech Inspection respects this right and shall effectively inform personnel that they are free to join any employee organisation of their choosing without any negative consequences or retaliation from the organisation. Teks Tech Inspection shall not interfere in any way with the establishment, functioning or administration of employees’ organisation(s) or collective bargaining. Teks Tech Inspection ensure that union members, representatives of employees and any personnel engaged in organising employees are not subjected to discrimination, harassment, intimidation, or retaliation for being union members, representative(s) of workers or engaged in organising employees, and that such representatives have access to their members in the workplace.
NON-DISCRIMINATION, NO ABUSE & HARASSMENT:
Teks Tech Inspection India Pvt. Ltd. is committed not to engage in nor support discrimination in hiring, remuneration, access to training, promotion, termination, or retirement based on race, national or territorial or social origin, caste, birth, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, family responsibilities, marital status, union membership, political opinions, age, or any other condition that could give rise to discrimination.
Teks Tech Inspection shall not interfere with the exercise of personnel’s rights to observe tenets or practices or to meet needs relating to race, national or social origin, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, family responsibilities, union membership, political opinions or any other condition that could give rise to discrimination.
Teks Tech Inspection does not allow any behaviour that is threatening, abusive, exploitative, or sexually coercive, including gestures, language, and physical contact, in the workplace and property provided by the organisation, whether it owns, leases, or contracts the residences or property from a service provider.
DISCIPLINARY PRACTICES:
Teks Tech Inspection India Pvt. Ltd. is committed to treat all personnel with dignity and respect. Teks Tech Inspection shall not engage in nor tolerate the use of corporal punishment, mental or physical coercion or verbal abuse of personnel. Teks Tech Inspection does not allow harsh or inhumane treatment. However, disciplinary action shall be taken against any employee who breach the Teks Tech Code of Practice. Teks Tech Inspection adopted zero tolerance on:
- Corruption and bribery.
- Ethics and integrity.
- Influence on work independence.
- Harassment and abuse.
- Breach of confidential data/information protection.
- Engagement of child labour.
- Use of forced labour and forced labour practices.
- Discrimination
- Use of alcohol / narcotics during work.
- Willful breakdown of safety rules at client sites, during own travel and stay for work that may put yourselves & colleagues in hostile situation / danger.
- Willful breakdown of transparency in work that severely impacts integrity and quality of the work.
WORKING HOURS:
Teks Tech Inspection India Pvt. Ltd. is committed to comply with applicable laws, collective bargaining agreements (where applicable) and industry standards on working hours, breaks and public holidays. At a minimum, one (1) day off of 24 hours every seven (7) days with any overtime being voluntary to all employees.
REMUNERATION AND BENEFITS:
Teks Tech Inspection India Pvt. Ltd. is committed to comply with applicable laws, collective bargaining agreements (where applicable) and industry standards providing remuneration and benefits to its employees. No deductions from employee’s salary will be made for disciplinary purposes except permitted by national law and a freely negotiated collective bargaining agreement with its employees.
HEALTH & SAFETY, EMPLOYEE SECURITY:
Teks Tech Inspection India Pvt. Ltd. is committed to ensure health & safety of its employees to the highest level as possible during operation, employee travel, audit/verification/ training execution, or any other activities.
Teks Tech Inspection expects all its business associates, including its own employees but not limited to its customers, clients, facilities, scheme owners, etc., not to put undue pressure and/or safety threat to our employees to pursue a favourable situation for the site of the service offered and executed by Teks Tech Inspection.
ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY:
Teks Tech Inspection India Pvt. Ltd. is committed to our planet and people by adopting environmental sustainability leading practices and de-carbonization practices.
Teks Tech encourages its employees, clients, business associates to participate and support in environmental sustainability and de-carbonization drive in their routine activity such as – using public transport as much as possible (not compromising safety), adopting electronic documents and records, adopting water and energy saving practices, minimizing waste reductions, etc.
IMPARTIALITY & INDEPENDENCE OF WORK/SERVICE WE OFFER:
Teks Tech Inspection India Pvt. Ltd. is committed to the independence of the work/service we offer, audit/verification results taken by our audit and / verification team, training outcomes of our training team and other staff involved in our operations.
Influence in any form by any person and/or stakeholders including Teks Tech Inspection employees and associates etc. that may impact the independence of the work/activity will not be acceptable.
DATA PROTECTION AND CONFIDENTIALITY:
Teks Tech Inspection India Pvt. Ltd. is committed to protect the confidentiality of the data and information we receive, collect during the work to the highest level and shall never be disclosed to unrelated persons and parties unless required by law.
PROTECTION OF PERSONNEL IDENTITY:
Teks Tech Inspection India Pvt. Ltd. is committed to protect the identity of the personnel as per law and EU General Data Protection Regulation unless allowed to share with audit/verification scheme owners/managers.

NON-RETALIATION:
Teks Tech Inspection India Pvt. Ltd. adopted a policy not to take any retaliation action against any person who reports in a good faith for the breach/suspect of breach the Teks Tech Inspection Code of Practice. Whistleblowers shall be protected in all cases within the purview of Teks Tech. Rather Teks Tech Inspection encourages its employees to report without any fear and reprisal openly or anonymously. Teks Tech Inspection assures the confidentiality of the whistle blower at the highest possible level.
What We Expect:
Any person finds non-adherence of the policy, we expect to report Teks Tech Inspection Ethics Officer to initiate an investigation and appropriate action. Whistle blower’s contact will be kept highly confidential.
